TREEHOUSE OF HORROR

“HERE’S A STORY THAT’S REALLY SCARIFYING!”

So, I’m late by a couple of days. I was suppose to finish this by Halloween, but with four 14in x 17in sheets filled with over 50 drawings I couldn’t quite make the date… but, better late than never.

I love the “Simpsons’ Halloween Specials.” They were a yearly anticipation as a kid.  Heck, when I was a young lad I use to cut “treat or trickin’” short so I could watch the reruns. And since I wanted to make a drawing to honor the holiday I thought of nothing better than the “Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror.”

Feast your eyes, all elements from seasons 2-11 of “Treehouse of Horror” are represented.  Only because I own the DVDs to seasons 1 – 11.

Also, I would like to dedicate this art to the memory of Marica Wallace, who recently passed away. Unfortunately, I could fit in Ms. Crabapple into the poster. Nevertheless, I wanted to thank her in some way for the many years of laughter.

The art was done on 28in x 34in Strathmore Bristol board with ink, Bic and Prismacolor markers, and color pencils.

“Wait a minute! There is still more space dust on here!”
